I am currently working on two ranges of jewellery:
Inspired by natural forms, printing techniques and textile designs of the 1950's I have compiled a sketchbook of graphic lines and patterns that are translated into jewellery pieces by drawing the designs straight onto the metal. This gives the piece a sketch-like quality. The jewellery is designed to frame these 'sketches' so that they may be seen as miniature works of art.
In production:
I'm hard at work developing a range of jewellery inspired by the ancient and rich tradition of firearms engraving on steel inspired by my work experience at Purdey's and Holland & Holland, two of London's world-renowned gunsmiths.

...and then.
After completing an HND jewellery studies in Cape Town I moved to the UK to work at the bench as a goldsmith in the year 2000.
I continued my studies part-time, specialising in hand engraving at the Sir John Cass school of Art and after graduating from there in 2003 completed a traditional apprenticeship with a well renown engraving firm in London's Hatton Garden. Whilst there I had the opportunity to work on a huge variety of jewellery and silverware including the Ryder cup, Wimbledon Tennis trophies, and the Americas cup and Davis cup trophies.
Through a desire to express myself more creatively through engraving and utilise my jewellery skills I decided to set up my own workshop in 2007, working to commission and developing a range of unique hand-engraved jewellery.
